by William D. Chase
Carol,  the sound of rejoicing.
That is why it is her name.
Ever since I first heard it,
I've never been quite the same.

Deep brown eyes that see my soul,
sweet woman that I love to hold.
Yes!  She really does love me.
How blessed can one man be?

There have been times that were rocky.
There have been times that were smooth.
Through them all she stayed with me,
With her love I could not lose.

She is my reward my happiness in life.
The wonderful woman that I call my wife.
