You may have asked yourself :  Will anyone ever publish my work?

The answer is YES!
If your work is quality material that a reasonable person would not find offensive we will.  You can be published electronically, the opportunity is here the time is now!

All work submitted must meet these requirements and conform to our guidelines to be published by us.

Please read this entire page it contains our guidelines.

#1:  All submissions must be the original work of, and submitted by, the author/artist  whose name it bears, or the owner of the copyright.

#2: All work submitted must be accompanied by a statement that indicates you have read our guidelines, understand them and agree to follow them.

Failure to comply with the above two terms will cause your work to be ignored completely.

We are primarily Electronic publishers,  Material is offered for sale as an e-mail attachment or on disk, CD  or other electronic media when necessary and as technology provides the opportunity.

The one exception we make to this is that we will offer for sale the printed work of anyone who meets our guidelines and will supply us with a reasonable number of copies to have on hand to fill orders.

Arrangements must be made and agreed to in writing prior to sending us any printed material for sale.  Any printed material sent to us without prior written agreement will be considered as a non-returnable submission and may be disposed of by us as we see fit.  In the event that you wish for your work to be printed and want to invest in your own project see our link below.

Things you need to know about us.

We do not charge you anything to publish your work if it is for free viewing on our web site.

We do not purchase work for publication on our web site.

We are only able to assist you in publicizing your work on the internet.
We will providing you with information on how you may publicize your work by other methods.

In the case of work offered for sale on this web site we do receive a 25% commission on sales. (as is stated below)

This is to cover our labor in constructing a page for this type of offering, as well as various additional expenses including payment arrangements for your work sold by us on this web site.  It also means that you the author receive 75% of the proceeds from the sale of your work.  I know of no other publisher who can say that.

Do not fail to  indicate with your submission that your have read this agreement and are willing to comply with it.  Should you not indicate this we will not consider your submission.

Indicate with your submission whether it is your intent to offer your work for sale or desire it to published for free general viewing, this is absolutely necessary.

Guidelines

Important Read this please!
We do not publish explicit sex, violence, language, or stories containing sexual encounters between children and adults.  Gratuitous vulgarity or profanity should not be used.

We expect that you will remember, we want children to be able see or read what we publish.

If  information is presented as an actual fact it must be verifiable and documented.  Separate documentation provided to us and not included in the material is acceptable in some cases.

The next statement is very important.
Electronic submissions are encouraged,  Word Perfect, or MS Word RTF is the preferred format in word.  Sorry I cannot at this time read Mac files.

All manuscripts submitted "on paper"  must be typed or legibly printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.  No manuscripts will be returned.  Copies are permissible.  You must include a return address by E-mail or Postal Service and a phone # where you may be contacted.

Artists photograph your work and follow the instructions for photographers below.

Photographers please make your submissions in the form of a  4" x 6" color print, glossy finish (which will not be returned) sent through the US Mail.

You may also submit your work as an e-mail attachment in bmp, gif, or tiff format; electronic submissions are preferred.

What will the Bookcliff-Group do for you?

You retain all rights to your work.  By publishing electronically with us you have a record of a date and time your work existed published under your name.

You can test market your work, you will know how many of our readers/viewers ordered your work.  The exposure and publicity on the web is available to you.

You can receive feedback from your readers via e-mail. We will keep a record of the number of sales for each of your stories, photos or other art work and furnish these to you upon request.

If you sign a traditional publishing contract we will remove your work from our listings if you desire, once you notify us.  Or promote your printed work and print publisher on our site while continuing to offer e-copies for sale.

Should you desire for any reason to have your work removed from our inventory we will be happy to do so once notified.

Art work and photographs must not include nudity as we are a family oriented site.

Work that is accepted for sale  will be offered online within a reasonable time.

Bookcliff group will retain 25% of  each sale as a commission to compensate us for our efforts.

There is no cost for submission.  Bookcliff-group reserves the right to market on line all work accepted by us as we see fit.  You may have any or all of your work removed from publication or sale simply by requesting such removal by e-mail, or conventional mail.

 Once your work has been published by The Bookcliff-Group you will be admitted to our (chat) "workshop" for contributors.  There you may engage in discussions with others who have been published on our site.

If you desire to communicate an item of general interest, or comment  constructively  about work published on the site, or solicit comments from others, you may leave a message on our new message board.

Anyone who visits our site can read the board.  This way we will monitor the board and delete any messages that do not meet our content guidelines.

We will deny input access to anyone who posts messages that do not meet our guidelines.
